Hogan Lovells appoints Michael Szlamkowicz as new Head of the Private Capital sector
New York, 10 July 2023 — Global law firm Hogan Lovells has appointed New York-based partner Michael Szlamkowicz to Head the Private Capital sector, replacing Frankfurt-based partner Dr. Matthias Jaletzke.
Michael is a Private Equity partner who joined the firm in July 2014 , whose practice focuses on complex corporate and transactional matters. He primarily represents private capital sponsors, including private equity and pension fund sponsors and their portfolio companies, in connection with leveraged acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, financings, restructurings, and general corporate matters.
Michael advises on both international and domestic transactions, and frequently counsels on a variety of securities law, corporate governance, and strategic matters. His industry experience includes financial services, life sciences, fashion and branding, retail and diversified industrials.
