Hogan Lovells advises on the sale of EFFEBI and ABC Ricami to Gruppo Florence
Milan, 14 June 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the quotaholders of EFFEBI S.r.l. and ABC Ricami S.r.l. on the sale of the companies to Gruppo Florence S.p.A.. The group also acquired A.L.B.A. S.r.l. as part of the same acquisition project.
The acquisition of the Tuscan companies EFFEBI and A.L.B.A. brings together top players in the Made in Italy industry for the manufacturing of bags and other leather accessories for some of the most iconic luxury brands. Gruppo Florence – the first integrated manufacturing hub in Italy for the international luxury fashion – has launched its leather goods business unit. The acquisition of ABC Ricami, a company based in Pistoia that perfectly combines traditional embroidery craftsmanship with the use of state-of-the-art machinery, will strengthens its presence in the intermediate processing sector.
EFFEBI and ABC Ricami were assisted by Hogan Lovells with a team led by managing partner Luca Picone, with support from counsel Martina Di Nicola, associate Eva Campione and trainee Gianluca Ceci.
