Milan, 30 May 2023 – Permira has agreed to acquire the entire corporate capital of Gruppo Florence S.p.A., Italy's leading industrial platform in the luxury sector, through a special purpose vehicle from the current shareholders VAM Investments, Fondo Italiano d'Investimento (FII), Italmobiliare and the entrepreneurs of the companies belonging to Gruppo Florence.
The entrepreneurs, the management team FII and VAM Investments will reinvest a significant minority stake in the new corporate vehicle that will acquire the entire corporate capital of Gruppo Florence S.p.A.
Hogan Lovells advised the entrepreneurs with a team led by Italy Managing Partner Luca Picone, with support from counsel Martina Di Nicola, associate Eva Campione and trainee Gianluca Ceci in the corporate and finance practice.
