Hertell brings a wealth of experience in the entertainment and new media space. His clients include content creators, brand makers, promoters, influencers, and other key figures in the worlds of technology, blockchain/NFTs, music, television, film, and the performing arts. He has successfully defended and prosecuted contract, non-compete, copyright, trademark, First Amendment, business torts, and related matters. He also advises clients in this space on intellectual property transactions, rights management, and branding matters.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Hertell also represents clients in a broad array of international disputes, with a focus on Latin America. He has represented clients in the energy, real estate, infrastructure, and other industries, and in disputes both for and against sovereign governments. He also has represented clients in U.S. compliance related matters including government investigations.
