Shaida Mirmazaheri advises public and private companies on corporate governance and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances.

Shaida has experience representing private and public companies in a range of industries, including life sciences, automotive, retail and manufacturing. Her transactional work has included both domestic and cross-border experience with mergers and equity acquisitions, carve-out transactions, joint ventures and high-yield debt issuances. 

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Shaida worked as a corporate associate in a Boston-based law firm and served on that firm's Hiring Committee. Shaida earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was a member of the Review of Banking and Financial Law, and a B.A. in each of Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Shaida has practiced in the firm's Boston and New York offices.

Mercedes Benz Group AG on its joint venture with MN8 Energy to develop and operate a Mercedes-Benz branded network of 2,500+ high-powered electric vehicle chargers across the United States and Canada.

Harmony Biosciences Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRMY) on its tender offer to acquire Zynerba Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZYNE). 

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO) on its acquisition of MarqMetrix, Inc., a Seattle, Washington-based developer of Raman spectroscopy solutions.
