David Middleton is a senior associate in our real estate finance team, advising lenders and borrowers on the full spectrum of real estate finance transactions across the UK and Europe. He has experience acting on investment, development, and structured finance matters across a range of asset classes and at all levels of the capital stack.
David brings a commercial and solutions‑driven approach to complex financings. His work spans bilateral and syndicated lending, senior and mezzanine structures, and cross‑border transactions, involving multiple stakeholders and detailed intercreditor arrangements.
David has completed a secondment at Austrian public bank BAWAG P.S.K. and has previously served as in‑house legal counsel at Leumi UK. These roles gave him first-hand insight into the priorities, pressures, and decision-making processes within financial institutions.
