Anaïs Ligot has developed a broad knowledge in Privacy, Cybersecurity, Technology and Intellectual Property.
She assists and represents French and international companies on both transaction and litigation matters, in particular with regard to:
- Compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy regulations;
- Cybersecurity, by assisting her clients to prevent cyberattacks (cybersecurity policies, business continuity plan, information systems security policy, etc.) and to face cyberattacks (notification to supervisory authorities and to affected individuals, information to cyber insurers, criminal complaint, etc.);
- Procedures before data protection authorities (on-site downraids, request for information, formal notice and sanction procedures), and court proceedings (French civil or criminal courts, European court of justice, Council of State);
- Digital advertising and data monetization, notably by assisting a range of clients on matters related to cookies and others trackers, CMP, DMP, data clean room, data sharing agreements, etc.;
- Artificial intelligence (governance, compliance, impact assessment, contractual implementation);
- Cybercrime, e-reputation and e-commerce regulations, notably with regard to European legislative package on digital services as well as texts reinforcing cyber resilience obligations (AI Act, DSA, DMA, DGA, Data Act, NIS2 etc.);
- IT and commercial contracts: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS contracts, license agreement, data sharing/transfer agreement, DPA, SLA, NDA, privacy policy, T&Cs, etc.;
- Enforcement, development, protection and defense of intellectual property rights (database, copyrights, trademarks, unfair competition);
- Pro bono cases;
Anaïs was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018. Before joining Hogan Lovells, she was an associate in the IP/IT/Privacy team of one of the largest U.S.-based law firms. She also gained experience in French law firms as well as at the legal department of a leading French collective management of copyright company.
