Anaïs Ligot has developed a broad knowledge in TMT, Privacy, Cybersecurity and Intellectual Property. She also focuses her practice on contract drafting and litigation. Anaïs has particular experience in industries as diverse as IT, audiovisual, luxury, automotive, media and e-commerce.
She assists French and international clients in transactional and litigation matters relating to privacy issues, including the optimization and compliance of personal data processing, the drafting of data processing agreements, data transfer agreements, BCRs and privacy notices, as well as audits and risk analysis.
Anaïs also advises on the enforcement, development, protection and defense of intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, designs, domain names, unfair competition). She notably manages significant IP portfolios, infringement cases, transaction and negotiation of intellectual property rights license and/or assignment.
She also assists clients in Internet law and media, in particular regarding e-commerce, online liability, cybercrime and online reputation.
Anaïs was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018. Before joining Hogan Lovells, she was an associate in the IP/IT/Privacy team of one of the largest U.S.-based law firms. She also gained experience at French law firms renowned in these fields, as well as at the legal department of a leading French collective management of copyright company.
