Ian Lewis-Slammon focuses his practice on commercial litigation and international arbitration. He started his Hogan Lovells career as a summer associate in 2019.

Before Ian graduated magna cum laude from St. John's University School of Law in 2020, he served as an articles editor for the St. John's Law Review and developed hands-on advocacy skills in two of St. John's clinical programs. As a participant in the Criminal Defense Clinic, he represented clients charged with misdemeanors and violations, and worked with attorneys on felony matters. In the Child Advocacy Clinic, Ian represented minors in immigration and family court proceedings. He also gained valuable insight into federal court litigation as an intern for Senior United States District Judge William H. Pauley III of the Southern District of New York.

He is passionate about pro bono work, with a particular emphasis on civil rights and the rights of children.
