Ian Lewis-Slammon focuses his practice on commercial litigation and internal investigations. He represents clients in a variety of contexts and across an array of industries.
Before Ian graduated magna cum laude from St. John's University School of Law in 2020, he served as an articles editor for the St. John's Law Review and developed hands-on advocacy skills in two of St. John's clinical programs: the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Child Advocacy Clinic. He also gained valuable insight into federal court litigation as an intern for Senior United States District Judge William H. Pauley III of the Southern District of New York.
He began his Hogan Lovells career as a summer associate in 2019. He has since assisted clients facing commercial disputes, class action lawsuits, and government investigations.
Ian also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in a diverse range of matters. This work includes matters related to immigration, antitrust, criminal justice, and voting rights.
Representative experience
Representing a large pharmaceutical company in a federal investigation as well as parallel civil litigation involving alleged price fixing.
Representing a leading home appliance manufacturer against consumer class action claims concerning alleged product defects.
