Oren Kreps represents clients in complex commercial and technical litigation, with a particular focus on privacy and data breach litigation as well as cybersecurity regulations and incident response, products counseling and liability, and intellectual property.

Oren has experience at all phases of litigation, from pre-incident response to early motion practice, e-discovery management, expert discovery, class certification, and dispositive motions through to trial. He has represented clients in state and federal court, as well as in consolidated class actions and multi-district litigation (MDL). He combines his experience with technical savvy acquired from a young age to assist clients in dealing with complex technical issues, including cybersecurity regulations, incident response, and litigation as well as other technology-based litigation.

As well, Oren is focused on advancing diversity and responsible business. In law school, he served on the board of UVA's LGBTQ+ organization for two years, as Treasurer and then as the Mentorship Chair. He is also strongly committed to pro bono and lawyering for good. He has represented pro bono clients in housing and immigration matters, being named a Pro Bono Champion by Georgia Appleseed along with his team, and he has also assisted with drafting amicus briefs in civil rights cases.

Before joining Hogan Lovells full-time, Oren served as a member of the managing board of both the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology and Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law. He was also a summer associate at Hogan Lovells in 2021.
