Guy Ker is a senior associate in our London Corporate team and has worked on a wide range of transactions both in the private and public M&A space across a number of different sectors, with a particular focus on infrastructure. He also has extensive experience advising DFIs on equity investments.
Guy regularly advises private equity houses, DFIs and corporates on buyouts, co-investments, growth capital investments, VC investments, joint ventures, and other private M&A transactions. He recently spent 10 months on secondment at Goldman Sachs Asset Wealth Management being the primary legal contact for the Infrastructure team.
Representative experience
Smart Metering Systems plc on its recommended £1.3 billion takeover offer by private equity firm KKR.
CVC as it joined KKR in the acquisition of Superstruct Entertainment, one of the world’s premier live entertainment groups.
Cardano Group and its shareholders in connection with the sale of the entire group to Mercer (part of the Marsh McLennan group).
Clipper Logistics on it £1bn public takeover by NYSE listed GXO Logistics, Inc.
IFC on investments, including in Axetrading, a trading software company; Collectius, a distressed asset recovery platform; electronics company Globaltronics, and mobility company, Bolt Technology.
ITT, Inc. on the acquisition of Svanehøj Group A/S, a leading provider of customised liquid and cryogenic pumps, for approximately US$420m.
NYSE listed PerkinElmer on public takeovers of (i) AIM listed Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings plc; (ii) NASDAQ listed Oxford Immunotec Global plc, and (iii) AIM Listed Horizon Discovery Group plc.
EFIC1, a Euronext Amsterdam listed SPAC, on its business combination with digital entertainment and media company Azerion at an enterprise value of €1.3bn.
Lloyds Development Capital on the £1bn+ sale of A-Gas.
