Dr. Markus Huber
As an associate in our Munich office, Markus Huber helps national and international clients in restructurings and insolvency proceedings. Markus advises on all aspects of German and international insolvency law, in particular regarding voidable transactions as well as on preventing other insolvency related risks within corporate or finance transactions. He further accompanies debtors but also creditors and shareholders in developing and implementing insolvency plans and acquisitions of insolvent or distressed companies. Markus also has a strong focus on finance transactions and financial restructurings.
Markus has published several articles on German insolvency law topics. He also received a doctorate with a thesis in the German law on voidable transactions.
He studied law at the University of Passau where he also worked for five years as a scientific assistant. He spent his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Munich.
