Marion Guertault advises French and international companies, as well as groups, with respect to French employment law issues.
Over the years she has developed specific experience and knowledge in company restructurings, plant closures or redeployment of industrial sites, transfers of employees, as well as on labour issues arising out of corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and transfers of activities.
Marion also represents her clients before national courts (labour, civil, appeal courts) in complex litigations against employee representative bodies, unions, employees and former employees.
Representative experience
Advising a leading US car manufacturer on the closure of its historic French transmission plant. Assistance also included negotiations with Governmental Authorities and representation before Courts.
Advising two pharmaceutical companies on business transformation projects downsizing, closure of plant, acquisition divestiture of businesses product lines in the form of either share or asset deals.
Advising a British bank on the divestment of its French Retail Banking activities (separation with the retained Corporate Banking activities, downsizing, reorganization of activities, related litigations).
Advising a leading global car manufacturer on the implications under French employment law of the acquisition of its main competitor, and on the divestiture of group companies required under antitrust law.
Advising various foreign companies with no legal department in France on various aspect of employment law.
