As an Associate in the London Intellectual Property Group, Muhammad’s practice is predominantly concerned with multi-jurisdictional patent litigation across the technology, telecommunications and life sciences sectors. Muhammad has previously worked with international clients and experts, with his experience advising on patent litigation proceedings before the High Court (Patents Court) and the Court of Appeal.

Muhammad graduated from SOAS University of London before completing his training at Hogan Lovells. Muhammad undertook seats in Intellectual Property, Banking and Loan Finance, Private Equity Transactions and Coporate, Commercial and Islamic (Shariah) Finance in Dubai. 

Muhammad is actively involved in and passionate about the promotion of Diversity and Inclusion. He is the Head of Alumni and Board Member at the Social Mobility Business Partnership and is an Inclusion Advisory Board Member at Southampton Football Club. 

Representative experience

Acting for a pharmaceutical company in a patent dispute concerning its overactive bladder drug.

Acting for General Electric in its dispute relating to the Haliade-X offshore wind turbine.

Acting for OPPO in technical trials relating to standard essential patents and FRAND determination proceedings.
