A significant portion of Carolina’s practice is devoted to defending consumer product manufacturers and retailers against challenges by private plaintiffs on issues such as labeling, advertising, California Proposition 65, and regulatory compliance. She is experienced in both litigating and resolving claims on favorable terms.
Carolina earned her J.D. from UC Law SF, where she focused on civil litigation, earning a concentration certificate in the field. While in law school, she was an active member of the nationally recognized UC Law SF Moot Court program and honed her leadership skills as a Discussion Group Leader and Teaching Assistant in multiple classes. Carolina also served on the board of the Human Rights and International Law Organization (HRILO) and externed for Justice Alison Tucher of California’s First District Court of Appeal during her 3L year.
Before transitioning to the U.S., Carolina began her legal career in Brazil at a boutique firm in Curitiba, where she practiced family and criminal law. This experience provided her with valuable client-management skills and a deep understanding of litigation from an international perspective. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from Universidade Federal do Paraná, concentrating in state law and human rights.
