Introduction to Food Law and Regulation

Hosted by FDLI, we are pleased to share that we are participating in this upcoming program, Introduction to Food Law and Regulation.

Veronica Colas will be covering food labelling, which will cover the basic FDA and USDA food labeling requirements, including ingredient, allergen, nutrition, bioengineered food, and menu labelling. Anneke Altieri is speaking on Inspection and Enforcement Authority, and will cover FDA and USDA inspection authorities as well as enforcement tools, such as Warning Letters, recalls, injunctions, and criminal prosecution. The session will also address additional state law authorities and their relationship to federal law.
