You are invited to the next session of our HL Digital Deep Dive webinar series. The session takes place on Wednesday, 5 July 2023, from 10.00 to 11.00 am CEST and will shed light on the topic of 

AI Liability Demystified: Navigating Legal Complexities & Accountability

We will delve into the legal aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and liability – as they will gain relevance across all industries. How can responsibility for the outcomes of AI-driven decisions be attributed? To what extent should these AI systems be safeguarded against potential faults? Which stakeholders and who within those stakeholders may face liability claims if they fail? Who has to prove the mistake of the AI system? How can we develop a standardized framework for documenting AI behavior and system performance? How should the balance be struck between AI system autonomy and human oversight?

These are just some of the many questions we will address in this session, against the backdrop of existing law and in anticipation of forthcoming EU legislations like the AI Act and AI Liability Directive. Join us for an informative session as we navigate the evolving landscape of AI liability and strategize for the legal challenges that lie on the horizon.

As always, the presentation will be in German but all written documentation will be in English.
