Eric Paroche

Eric Paroche advises companies on all antitrust aspects of their business. Through his diverse practice in many industry sectors and his past experience at the Directorate-General for Competition at the European Commission, Eric is able to look at issues from all angles and put forward workable solutions. He provides strategic advice to companies on how to take into account merger control constraints in their overall acquisition strategies. He assists them in their filings with the European Commission, the French Competition Authority and other competent authorities, including in North and South America, and Asia. Eric helps companies on contractual arrangements in the conduct of their business operations with clients/distributors, suppliers and sometimes competitors.

Eric also works with companies to structure and implement their antitrust compliance programs. He assists companies in antitrust proceedings before the European Commission and the French Competition Authority. In particular, Eric helps management teams define the most appropriate strategies to minimize financial and reputational risks in cases of alleged infringements. Eric represents companies in their potential appeals before the European or French Courts, as well as in damages actions. He advises clients in assessing State aid issues and assists them in their filings with the European Commission. Eric lectures on competition law at Sciences Po in Paris.
