Elena Wiese offers pragmatic solutions to complex antitrust issues. With professional experience gained in Germany and in our D.C. office, Elena understands both the legal needs of multi-national companies navigating cross-border antitrust issues as well as straight-forward domestic advice.

Elena's clients rely on her expertise in complex cartel investigations, merger proceedings and cartel damage litigation. She successfully defended companies and industry associations before the German Federal Cartel Office, coordinated international merger proceedings and advised in cartel damage claims. Combining her antitrust experience with a strong academic background in IP law, Elena is also the go-to-choice for IP related aspects of antitrust law where clients seek her advice on R&D cooperations, license negotiations and FRAND claims.

Elena is dedicated to our pro bono and diversity initiatives. She also regularly mentors female students and trainees, and gives lectures on antitrust law at the European Business School in Wiesbaden, Germany.
