John advises both public and private organisations on procurement, subsidy control and administrative law. Having trained at a city firm, John then spent a number of years at various government departments, including the Department for Energy and Climate Change and the Cabinet Office, advising ministers and policy officials on procurement, state aid, constitutional and administrative law issues.
