It's almost a decade now that Christian Tinnefeld's life as a lawyer became digital, virtual and 2.0. Christian takes care of IT, data protection, copyright and internet related matters and steers domestic and international companies of different industries through the troubled waters of compliance issues, IP/IT litigation, contract drafting and negotiation.

In data protection, privacy and cyber security matters, Christian provides legal advice on international data transfers, order data processing, big data analysis technologies and databases. He runs compliance checks on company workflows and automated data processing procedures, marketing campaigns, online marketing tools, mobile Apps, digital health and mHealth products, as well as on CRM, ERP or HR tools. He drafts privacy policies for internet platforms and company websites in different industries, binding corporate rules and other relevant privacy statements and documents. Christian protects his clients' interests in data protection litigation before data protection agencies and courts.

In IT related matters, he regularly advises both international company groups requesting software, IT services and project support, as well as IT companies offering these services and assets. Christian's knowledge and experience covers the full scope of IT contracts, particularly IT projects, SAP services, software licensing, hosting contracts, cloud computing, IT maintenance agreements and hardware purchase contracts.

Due to his longstanding advice and IP litigation for internet providers, online marketplaces and owners of digital content he knows the challenges, perspectives and needs of globally operating company groups. When lecturing at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg (software license agreements, IP on the Internet and in IT contracts), Christian tries to drum up the students' enthusiasm for the new media and information technology business.
