Sophie guides public companies on their securities law compliance and corporate governance matters, as well as advises on their debt and equity offerings. She regularly counsels companies in the life sciences and health care and real estate sectors. 

Sophie brings specific and in-depth knowledge of the life sciences and health care sector, having received her Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She was part of the first place team at the 2020 Health Law and Regulatory Compliance Competition hosted by the University of Maryland School of Law and served as a student advocate for Philadelphia Legal Aid. Sophie was also a Director of the University of Pennsylvania Law School's Health Law Pro Bono Project. In the real estate sphere, she regularly advises REITs on various securities and corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Sophie worked at a public policy and research organization, where she developed strong research and analysis skills.

Sesen Bio (NASDAQ:SESN), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, on its reverse merger with Carisma Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focusing on cellular immunotherapy.

Mind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: MNMD) on its US$175m underwritten offering of common shares and concurrent private placement.
