Cristina is an IP/IT and Data Protection Lawyer at the Madrid office. She joined Hogan Lovells in September 2022 and is currently involved in different projects such as:

- Binding Corporate Rules

- Clinical Trial Agreements

- Data Protection compliance analysis from a group-level perspective

She is also very involved in due diligence projects encompassing the areas of Intellectual Property, Data Protection and Information Technology. Furthermore, she also advises clients regarding the existing data protection and IP obligations when launching new projects. Some of her clients are from the pharmaceutical, e-commerce and banking sectors.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, she worked at another leading international firm for one year in the IP/tech department. She was primarily involved in Industrial Property litigation and also participated in major projects regarding patent rights protection. Additionally, she also supported the data protection team in several projects such as due diligences and advised clients regarding trade secrets and industrial designs protection.

She graduated in 2020 with a Double Degree in Law and International Studies at Universidad Carlos III. During her years at university, she had the opportunity to go on an Erasmus exchange to Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and also to University Technology of Sydney (Australia). She also lived in Ireland for two years during her school years. These international experiences have helped her to reach an advanced level in English. As a result, she is able to work with international clients very comfortably. In 2021, she graduated with a Double Master's Degree in Legal Practice and in International Advocacy, also at Universidad Carlos III. Lastly, her master’s thesis was based on competition/antitrust law. Therefore, she also knows certain aspects of this area of law in depth.
