Praised by clients for his clear advice, efficiency and high-speed, Alessandro Borrello is a senior associate in the Italian Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations group in Italy. His practice is mainly focused on domestic and cross-border contentious work and internal investigations, across various industry sectors.

Alessandro assists clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, spanning from product liability cases to contractual claims and private estates litigation. Over the years, he has gained a robust experience as litigator, successfully representing clients in court proceedings on various levels and in arbitration cases. He is also a skilled negotiator, particularly talented for resolving and settling multi-party claims.

Being a key member of the Investigations, White Collar & Fraud group in Italy, Alessandro regularly works as project manager in the context of internal investigations and provides targeted advice to clients on compliance measures and risk mitigation solutions.

Also thanks to his overseas educational experiences, Alessandro has an international mind-set that allows him to think outside the box and adopt successful and original practices in the client's best interest.

Assisting clients in diversified sectors (fashion; automotive; electric and electronic appliances, IT, mobile phones) in contractual disputes relevant to distribution, supply and agency agreements.


Assisting an IT multinational with internal investigations and coordinating the relevant defence in the context of criminal investigations on false-invoicing and, possibly, bribe charges.

Assisting a leading global manufacturer of safety components in defending against claims for damages allegedly due to defects in air-bag systems and safety belts.

Assistance to the Indian Government in the enforcement of bank guarantees for over €300m issued in the context of a contract for the supply of helicopters.
