Senior Paralegal | Alicante

I joined Hogan Lovells in March 2015 initially covering a colleague's maternity leave in the business services department, assisting the human resources and finance teams. I was subsequently promoted to paralegal in the IPMT practice group in March 2016.

My responsibilities include assisting in all areas of IP matters including trademark prosecution and enforcement, infringement, opposition and cancellation proceedings both before the EUIPO and internationally along with the handling of customs applications, seizures and renewals for an array of clients.

Before working at Hogan Lovells I had gained experience on the other side of Intellectual Property, having studied graphic design and advertising I had the opportunity to work with a number of clients to build their corporate identity and enforce their brands from marketing and design perspective as a designer and photographer.

Is Hogan Lovells a great place to work?

The best things about working in Hogan Lovells are the diversity of work, dealing with international clients in a mixture of fields is both challenging and rewarding. An atmosphere in which you are constantly surrounded by such accomplished and inspiring people definitely fuels my motivation to continue in gaining further experience. I love working with colleagues from all different walks of life and nationalities, it's a great blend of cultures and languages. Having worked in a variety of departments in Hogan Lovells so far, the career opportunities are vast and flexible and it is therefore definitely one of the best companies to work for and I would recommend it to anyone!
