Floating offshore wind on the road to commercialization

The session will focus on the floating offshore wind market. Simon Matthiessen from Green Giraffe and John MacAskill from Offshore Wind Consultants will share insight about the current status and prospects of the sector as well as financing strategies and constraints.

Simon Matthiessen is working at Green Giraffe and has comprehensive experience in advising offshore wind projects on financial and commercial aspects.

John MacAskill is a director of OWC with 12 years of wind experience in consultancy, certification and fabrication, he has been involved with a number of floating projects and technologies during this time.
