Nick Rotz relies on his engineering background and legal experience to assist clients in planning for and avoiding obstacles related to intellectual property rights. His practice includes patent and antitrust litigation involving chemical, automotive, energy, healthcare, and software technologies.

Nick also has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications and counseling clients on intellectual property issues, such as evaluating patent portfolios and providing freedom-to-operate opinions.

While in college and law school, Nick interned in the chemical industry and worked in-house in the legal department of a Fortune 10 automotive company. After graduation, Nick also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David J. Porter of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. From these experiences, Nick gained invaluable insights that help him understand and meet the needs of his clients.
