Yun-Suk Jang is a German and Europrean patent attorney and respresentative before the Unified Patent Court. He advises clients in complex patent matters with a focus on patent validity and patent infringement proceedings.
Yun-Suk Jang studied chemistry and biochemistry at LMU Munich, Imperial College London and Korea University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, and his scientific results have been published in numerous high-impact journals and presented at various international conferences.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Yun-Suk trained as a patent attorney with a Munich-based patent law firm.
Yun-Suk Jang has in-depth knowledge in the fields of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, electrochemistry, battery technology and medical devices. He is a member of the Examination Committee of the European Patent Office.
