Intellectual Property

As a counsel in our Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) Group, Yu-An works with a team of international IP lawyers to assist multinational companies on procuring, protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights in Greater China and the APAC region.

Yu-An has broad experience in advising and litigating on intellectual property matters with a focus on copyright, trademarks and brands, and unfair competition in China. He also regularly advises on intellectual property aspects of multi-jurisdictional commercial transactions, assisting clients with intellectual property licensing and transfers, and performing due diligence audits. Over the years, he has acted for various IP owners in the region, including consumer brands in the retail industries, as well as technology, healthcare, education and toy companies.

Yu-An is an expert of the China IPR SME Helpdesk of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry and has spoken at various seminars and workshops organized for multinational companies in China.
