Dr. Coco Mercedes Tremurici

Coco Mercedes studied law at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Sheffield, England. She specialized in insurance law early on as part of her specialized studies and dealt academically with insurance law issues both as a student assistant and as a research assistant after her first state examination at an insurance law chair. In her dissertation on captive insurance companies, Coco Mercedes also conducted intensive research on the European law context of insurance supervisory law. She was a scholarship holder of the Association for the Support of the Insurance Sciences in Berlin e.V.

Coco Mercedes completed her legal clerkship in Berlin. She deepened her expertise in the respective insurance law department of the Federal Ministry of Finance and the EU Commission. She completed her traineeship at Hogan Lovells and supported the Tax team.
