Michele Traversa is a senior associate in our Technology, Media & Telecommunication team with in-depth knowledge in Information Technology and Internet Law and works closely with many of the world’s leading Internet and technology companies. He advises clients on emerging and complex tech legal issues with respect to contentious and regulatory matters.
Michele focuses on Internet Service Provider liability, platforms, freedom of expression, data protection and online copyright. In particular, he has gained experience in litigation before courts and regulatory authorities in relation to Internet Service Provider's liability and data protection.
Michele graduated in Law from the University of Bari in 2014. He later received an LL.M. from University of Southern California – Gould School of Law with a Certificate in Entertainment Law. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Michele was a legal intern at Google.

Advising one of the world’s largest Internet company on all commercial and contentious aspects of its business in Italy, including litigation in court and before authorities.
