Iris Toepoel is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) Group. She advises both national and international clients in the consumer, fashion, retail, and technology industries on all areas of soft IP and closely related matters, such as trademarks, copyrights, media law, design rights, trade names, and unfair competition. Additionally, she advises on platform regulation matters. 

Before Iris joined Hogan Lovells, she began her career as a researcher at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam. This role allowed her to delve deeply into intellectual property law and the particularities of the Digital Services Act (DSA), equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of this legal field and the issues that arise from it.
