Reedy C. Swanson

As a member of Hogan Lovells' Appellate practice, Reedy C. Swanson has briefed cases at every level of the federal judiciary, including the Supreme Court. Reedy excels at finding compelling ways to argue complicated cases.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Reedy clerked for Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he received the highest award presented to a member of the graduating class: the Margaret G. Hyde Award. He was also a member of the winning team in the William Minor Lile Moot Court competition and served as co-chair of the Articles Department for the Virginia Law Review.
