Jonathan Sussler leverages his experience as a former federal prosecutor to guide clients through complex antitrust litigation and government investigations. He approaches every matter with an eye toward litigation, focusing from the earliest stages on how cases will be presented and defended in court.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Jonathan served as a Trial Attorney in the Washington Criminal Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he investigated and prosecuted high-stakes antitrust and fraud cases. He also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, litigating cases in both the District of Columbia Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Before his time at the Department of Justice, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Daniel R. Lindemann in the New Jersey Superior Court.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and holds a B.S. in Sport Marketing and Management from Indiana University.
