Her practice focuses on China’s export controls and counter-sanctions, U.S. export controls and economic sanctions, trade import controls, and supply chain compliance. She advises clients on complex international trade and investment issues, including compliance with China’s Export Control Law and Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law, U.S.’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR), sanctions administered by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and reviews and investigations by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Stephanie also regularly assists clients in developing and implementing trade compliance programs from both import and export perspectives.
She works extensively with clients in the life sciences and healthcare, technology, manufacturing and industrials, and energy sectors. In addition, Stephanie has experience representing international corporations in disputes before leading international arbitration institutions.
After receiving her Master of Laws degree from New York University School of Law, Stephanie spent a year working in the firm’s Washington, D.C. headquarters. She frequently travels between our Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Washington, D.C. offices for business matters.
