Fernanda is a passionate litigation and arbitration lawyer with broad experience in resolving complex legal disputes. Her commitment to excellence and ability to find creative solutions make her stand out in the legal field.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Fernanda clerked at the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice Nation. Having experience in the judiciary and as a party counsel has allowed her to have a comprehensive vision for resolving the disputes in which she participates. 

Fernanda has represented a wide range of clients, multinational and domestic, in various legal disputes, including civil, commercial, and administrative litigation and domestic and international arbitration.

Fernanda's academic profile includes her participation as a member of her university's representative team in international commercial arbitration competitions, as well as her membership in her Law School's Academic Excellence Program.

In addition to her legal practice, Fernanda is passionate about legal education and dedicates time to sharing her experience and knowledge with the legal community through conferences and academic publications.

Representative experience

Representation of a gas pipeline company in an arbitration regarding the operation of energy infrastructure projects (ICC, Mexico City, Spanish, Mexican law).

Representation of an Italian company (oil and gas) in a dispute arising out of works performed in a refinery (ICC, Mexico City, Spanish, Mexican law).

Representing an insurance company in a litigation related to the nullity of insurance policies, against a government institution, for an amount greater than 600 million pesos.

Representing an insurance company in three court proceedings regarding the enforcement of insurance policies.

Representing a food company in a court proceeding regarding the breach of a supply agreement.

Representing a civil society in a court proceeding against a shareholder, regarding the nullity of general shareholders' meetings.
