Zach Seidel is an Associate in the firm's Corporate & Finance Practice Group, with a core focus on infrastructure, energy, resources, and projects markets. 

Zach advises investors, manufacturers, developers, and operators on various types of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax equity deals, financing, and project development matters.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Zach worked at a boutique law firm handling a variety of commercial real estate matters involving lenders, investors, property managers, agents, and builders. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was an editor on the Law Review. Zach earned his B.S. as a Supply Chain Management major in the business school at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Representative experience

Private equity fund on the acquisition of a 309 MW simple cycle peaking facility, and the 50% stake acquisition of a 585 MW simple cycle peaking facility, both of which are located in Georgia.

Solar project developer on the sale of 26 rooftop and ground solar projects located in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, California, Ohio and Arizona.

Solar developer and operator on the acquisition of a portfolio of stand alone BESS projects in Texas.

Solar module manufacturer on materials supply agreements and customer purchase agreements. 

Solar and energy storage project developer on the negotiation of solar power purchase agreements and energy storage agreements.
