Julie Schindel doesn't just grasp the complex medical and scientific issues involved in products liability litigation – she masters them so her clients don't have to.

Her ability to steep herself in the subject matter of each case, as well as her clients' business and their industry, enables her to offer counsel that is both nuanced and practical. This balance of detail-oriented, thorough scientific know-how with business-focused insights is the hallmark of her practice.

Julie's civil practice focuses primarily on product liability litigation, including individual, mass tort, multidistrict litigation, and class actions in federal and state courts across the United States. She also has experience in complex civil and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Julie served as an extern for the Honorable Richard D. Bennett in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and was a summer associate at the firm in 2014 and 2015. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Julie was an NCAA Division 1 scholarship student athlete. The hard work, team-focused mentality, and dedication to mastering her craft that led her to perform at one of the highest levels in her sport are the same qualities that drive and define her legal practice today.
