Iris is a Senior Associate in the Hogan Lovells International Arbitration team focusing on public international law and, in particular, dispute settlement under investment treaties.

Iris acts for States, international organisations and investors in international disputes, mainly arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, and in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).

She has experience of dispute settlement in the mining, oil and gas, media, telecommunications, banking and tertiary sectors.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Iris practiced as an Avocat à la Cour in Paris where she acquired experience in commercial arbitration, commercial litigation and public international law.

Iris has been included in the “Jus Connect 2025 Power List: Top Female Arbitration Lawyers (Global),” which recognizes 50 leading female arbitration lawyers for their casework and professional impact.

She is also a Coordinator of the CEIA-40 (Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje under 40).

Acting for Ukraine in an ICSID arbitration under the Sweden-Ukraine Bilateral Investment Treaty.

Acting for the Republic of India in an UNCITRAL arbitration under a Bilateral Investment Treaty.

Acting for a UK investor in an ICSID arbitration against Romania under the Energy Charter Treaty.

Acting for Irish investors in an ICSID arbitration against the Federal Republic of Germany under the Energy Charter Treaty.

Acting for a Latin American State in an UNCITRAL arbitration under a Bilateral Investment Treaty. 

Acting for US nationals against a Central American State in an ICSID arbitration under the CAFTA-DR.  

Acting for a US national against a Latin American State in an ICSID arbitration under the NAFTA.
