Alexandre Salem is a banking and finance lawyer based in our Paris office.
He assists major French and international banks (including multilateral development institutions) in all type of banking and finance transactions with a particular focus on project and asset finance. Alexandre has also developed experiences in Energy and Natural Resources and in OHADA law.
Representative experience
Advising West African Development Bank and a pool of lenders in relation to the financing of a 90 megawatt (MW) thermal power station in Kayes, Mali.
Advising AfDB, FMO and other development banks in the financing of an IPP in Senegal.
Advising Bpifrance financement in relation to the financing of various biomass projects in France.
Advising BNP Paribas and a pool of lenders in relation to the financing of the Hôtel du Grand Contrôle project in Versailles for LOV Hotel Collection / Alain Ducasse Entreprise consortium.
Advising Natixis as agent and a pool of lenders in relation to the financing of the first A330-300 for French Blue (Groupe Dubreuil).
Advising the lenders in relation to the financing of one Boeing 787-8 for Air Austral including senior and junior loan facilities and conditional sale.
Advising Natixis in relation to a €150m borrowing base financing to Eramet SA.
Advising CACIB and a pool of lenders in relation to a €600m refinancing and acquisition transaction to an agricultural cooperative.
