As a senior associate in our Appellate practice, Eric focuses on complex appeals in federal and state courts. His work spans a range of issues, including constitutional law, administrative law, commercial disputes, and voting rights. Eric has authored briefs at every level of the federal judiciary, including the U.S. Supreme Court, and he was part of the appellate team that secured a landmark victory in Moore v. Harper, 600 U.S. 1 (2023).

Eric brings strong oral advocacy skills to his appellate work; at the close of Eric's recent oral argument before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Chief Judge Jeff Sutton remarked that he was "particularly impressed" with Eric's "terrific lawyering."

Eric clerked for Judge Helene White of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Judge Deborah Chasanow of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He earned his law degree from Duke University School of Law, where he won the Dean’s Cup Moot Court competition, and graduated from The Ohio State University, where he was a two-time Mock Trial All-American.
