Sanjana Ravjiani is an Associate with our Equity Capital Market team in the Singapore office and has been actively advising issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders in capital raise transactions such as initial public offerings, qualified institutions placements, rights issues, further public offerings, block / bulk trades and offer for sale on the Indian stock exchanges and offshore bond issuances. She has also advised listed issuers on post-listing compliances and regulatory issues. Sanjana has acted for an array of clients across various sectors including real estate, insurance, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and renewable energy. 

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Sanjana gained extensive experience working in the capital markets practice at one of India’s leading law firms.

Representative experience

Advised the Life Insurance Corporation of India (“LIC”) and the President of India, acting through the Ministry of Finance on LIC’s US$2.75 billion initial public offering in 2021.*

Advised an Indian telecommunications company on its US$2.16 billion further public offering in 2024. *

Advised Vedanta Limited on its US$1 billion qualified institutions placement in 2024. *

Advised a private equity investor in its capacity as a selling shareholder in the US$500 million initial public offering of Brainbees Solutions Limited (FirstCry) in 2024. *

Advised Grasim Industries Limited on its US$481 million rights issue in 2024. *

Advised Adani Wilmar Limited on its US$481 million initial public offering in 2022.*

Advised the underwriters on the US$514 million qualified institutions placement of Punjab National Bank in 2020.*

Advised R R Kabel Limited on its US$235 million initial public offering in 2023.*

Advised Macrotech Developers Limited (i.e. the Lodha Group) on its $340 million initial public offering in 2021, as well as its US$537 million qualified institutions placement (“QIP”) in 2021*

Advised Macrotech Developers Limited (i.e. the Lodha Group) on its US$422 million QIP in 2022 and US$400 million QIP in 2024.*
