Upcoming privacy and cybersecurity events - December 2020

Keep up to date on the latest Privacy and Cybersecurity trends by checking out the events our lawyers are participating in this month, including the IAPP’s “Deal or No Deal: How Brexit Could Affect Data Adequacy” web conference, a U.S. Secret Service Virtual Cyber Incident Response Seminar, and the initial session of Hogan Lovells' "Tackling Uncertainties: Privacy Roundtable Series" on responding to recent developments related to European data transfers.

December 8	Julian Flamant will participate as a panelist in Deal or No Deal: How Brexit Could Affect Data Adequacy, a web conference hosted by the IAPP.
December 9	Pete Marta will be on a panel with Mike D’Ambrosio (USSS Assistant Director), Ron Green (CISO Mastercard), and Ken Blanco (Acting Director of FinCEN), for the U.S. Secret Service Virtual Cyber Incident Response Seminar.
December 15	Joke Bodewits, Bret Cohen, Tim Tobin, and Eduardo Ustaran will be hosting the initial session of Hogan Lovells’ Tackling Uncertainties: Privacy Roundtable Series, where they will discuss how companies are responding to recent developments related to European data transfers.
December	Eduardo Ustaran will be featured in an episode of Boom and Bust, a program of the Canadian broadcaster The News Forum presented by former minister the Hon. Tony Clement. The title of the episode will be "Privacy law and its implications on tech and business".
