Hogan Lovells was bestowed with the accolade at the Chambers USA Awards Ceremony and Dinner at Cipriani in New York City on 19 May.
The awards honor the work of national and international law firms across the region on the basis of research for the 2015 edition of Chambers USA. They recognize a law firm’s pre-eminence in the United States. They also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service.

representing a number of automobile manufacturers with respect to privacy issues arising from connected car technologies.
acting as counsel to the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, for whom we drafted a set of privacy principles for Connected Cars that have been adopted by manufacturers selling 91% of automobiles sold in the United States.
leading a high profile cross-industry effort on and authored public comments that significantly influenced the privacy section of the influential NIST Cybersecurity Framework; and

Over the past year, the Privacy group recruited London partner Eduardo Ustaran and his team of six practitioners from Fieldfisher, and added Washington, D.C. counsel Katherine Armstrong, a 30-year veteran of the Federal Trade Commission.
