Marco Orsini Jones is a Senior Associate in our Investment Funds team, specializing in private funds.
Marco advises managers and investors across all alternative asset classes, including private equity, infrastructure, private credit, venture capital and real estate. He has advised on various fund structures including closed-ended, open-ended and hybrid funds. He represents managers and investors on fundraisings, investments and fund-related transactions, including primary investments, co-investments, portfolio secondaries and GP-led transactions. He also advises managers and investors on the formation and negotiation of fund-of-one and managed account arrangements.
Representative experience
Advising Aberdeen plc on the establishment of infrastructure funds covering Europe and North America.
Advising a sovereign wealth fund on primary investments, co-investments and investments in bespoke products across various alternative asset classes, including as cornerstone investor.
Acting for a significant institutional investor on primary investments, co-investments, portfolio secondary acquisitions and complex GP-led transactions, including as lead investor.
Advising a major fund-of-funds on the formation and negotiation of bespoke fund-of-one vehicles and managed account arrangements for its European clients.
Acting for one of the largest global alternative asset managers on the formation and launch of "semi-retail" hybrid products targeting investments in European private equity and private credit.*
