Ada Nourell is an Associate in the Financial Services Regulatory team. She assists a broad range of clients through the complex landscape of financial service regulation and helps to ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving sector.

Ada has experience advising on sector-specific laws and regulations such as the Consumer Credit Act, the Payment Services Regulations, the Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Act, CONC and BCOBS.

Ada is also passionate about social mobility and is a committed steering committee member of the Hogan Lovells Social Mobility Network. Through this role, she advocates for greater inclusivity within the legal profession, working to help individuals from all backgrounds to succeed. 

Representative experience

Assisting clients in navigating mortgages regulation and consumer credit law.

Helping clients manage significant changes in the industry, such as the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 and the Authorised Push Payment fraud reimbursement requirement.

Coordinating multi-jurisdiction regulatory reviews to help clients remain compliant across different legal landscapes.

Supporting in a Part VII transfer to facilitate the smooth movement of banking business between entities.

Drafting updates to terms and conditions and preparing customer-facing communications for financial institutions. 

Secondment to a global bank.
