Niklas brings his passion to the field of intellectual property, where he works in trademark and competition law. Here, he advises and represents national and international clients from innovation-driven industries in court and out-of-court disputes as well as in negotiating agreements. He focuses in particular on the protection and enforcement of his clients' rights in the digital space.
Niklas' practice includes representation in litigation, preliminary injunction proceedings and proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, as well as advice in out-of-court disputes and negotiations. In an advisory capacity, he deals with the development of trademark strategies and their implementation as part of an efficient portfolio management, actively accompanying his clients' digital transformation.
Niklas was born in northern Germany and studied law at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg until he returned to his home state of Schleswig-Holstein for his legal traineeship. During his legal traineeship, Niklas completed an internship at the Hogan Lovells office in Alicante, where he was able to deepen his knowledge of European trademark law.
