Hogan Lovells strengthens its banking team in Germany with key hire Dr Thomas Freund
Munich, 6 March 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Thomas Freund as a partner in the firm’s Banking and Loan Finance practice, based in the Munich office. Thomas joins us on 15 March 2024 from Eversheds Sutherland where he served as Co-Head of the German Banking and Finance Practice and brings with him three members of his existing team.
Thomas is a leveraged finance specialist and a recognized player in the German LBO market. He has particular experience in acting for banks and credit funds, as well as private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers, on leveraged financings and he has also advised on complex debt restructurings.
