Throughout the Enel deal, a cross-practice, cross-border team of Hogan Lovells lawyers worked seamlessly with Enel’s in-house team and local counsel to reach a multi-billion dollar enterprise value outcome that was one of the largest cross-border deals in Latin America in 2024. This deal was led by partner Luca Picone.
In the Americanas restructuring, Hogan Lovells fielded a cross-jurisdictional and cross-practice team which advised the indenture trustee which acted with respect to $1 billion of bonds in the high-profile restructuring/chapter 15 case of Brazilian retailer Americanas. The Americanas team was led by partners Ronald Silverman and Rob Ripin.
