Aline Doussin, partner and head of Hogan Lovells’ International Trade team in London, appeared on Bloomberg Daybreak Europe to discuss the potential impact of proposed tariffs by newly-elected U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. With proposed tariffs reaching up to 60% on goods from China and 20% on other imports, Doussin addressed possible repercussions on the EU and the U.K. economy, noting that sectors like automotive could be particularly vulnerable.
