PARIS, 2 April 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced today the hire of renowned energy regulatory duo Christine Le Bihan-Graf and Laure Rosenblieh in Paris.

The pair join the firm’s Global Regulatory practice from De Pardieu Brocas Maffei and bring with them market leading experience in general public law, regulated sectors, litigation and dispute resolution before French and EU courts, with a focus on energy transition.

Hogan Lovells CEO Miguel Zaldivar said: “Energy transition is a business-critical issue and strategic focus for our firm and many of our clients. We continue to strengthen our energy capabilities globally with these hires following arrivals in London, Germany, Singapore and the U.S. and Latin America in the last year and a half, underscoring our commitment to providing clients with the very best counsel.”

Janice Hogan, Global Head of the firm’s Global Regulatory & Intellectual Property, Media and Technology (IPMT) practice group added: “Christine and Laure are a great fit for and natural addition to our global regulatory practice and we are delighted to welcome them on board. Their arrival represents continued significant investment in Hogan Lovells global energy regulatory practice and energy sector.”

Christine founded the Regulatory and Economic Public Law department at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, and has spent time at the Conseil d'Etat – the highest administrative court and legal adviser to the State – and as Managing Director of the French Energy Regulation Commission. Working together since 2013, Laure has been consistently industry recognised as a rising star in recent years.

“Christine and Laure are among the most in-demand energy lawyers in the market, Xenia Legendre, Paris Office Managing Partner, said. “Their addition to our team will be of great benefit to our clients and practice and we are looking forward to working together.”

Christine and Laure noted: “Hogan Lovells presents a hugely appealing global platform to harness and grow what we have built together. We are excited to be part of building our and the firm’s practice yet further, and to work with the enormously talented team spanning the global network.”
